Head of Product Development [CDD Maternity Cover- 6 months]
Typology is the first skincare brand launched by Good Brands, an ambitious project to build a new generation of digital first consumer brands. Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology became the #1 selling skincare brand online in France and operates also in Germany, the USA and Japan.
Location: Paris (11e arrondissement)
Mission: We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead our skincare product team at Typology during a maternity leave. You will manage a team of 5 professionals, overseeing product & packaging development, formulation, quality, scientific communication and work closely with the leadership team to define market alignment while maintaining the brand’s vision and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision:
- Drive and implement Typology’s product strategy, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s values and business goals.
- Analyze market and competitor landscape, alongside a broader strategic vision, to uncover growth opportunities and refine the strategic direction.
- Product Development & Innovation:
- Lead the end-to-end development of skincare products, from concept to launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with internal R&D, external labs, and manufacturing teams to develop and deliver innovative, high-quality products
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and support a team of 5 product professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide mentorship, set clear objectives, and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product launches, while maintaining margin targets through effective negotiation.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer feedback, and opportunities to continuously improve product and packaging quality.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate product vision, progress, and results to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Set and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate product success, identify areas for improvement and drive innovation.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize product performance and user experience.

Profil
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Hands-on / doer mindset.
- Proven experience in skincare product development and management, preferably within an entrepreneurial cosmetic company.
