Financial Control Intern [Stage - 6 mois]
Typology is the first skincare brand launched by Good Brands, an ambitious project to build a new generation of digital first consumer brands. Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology became the #1 selling skincare brand online in France and operates also in Germany, the USA and Japan.
Location: Paris (11e arrondissement)
Mission: Typology has an incredible growth in its first and domestic market - France - and in its cross border expansion, especially in the US. In this context your mission is to help the company monitor its financial performance by providing insightful analyses and prepare for future growth by building reliable forecasts.
Start date : January 2026
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting along with the FP&A Analyst
- Participate in the quarterly reforecast and annual budget processes
- Support in closing operations and assist in accounting review
- Create dashboards and slide decks to help monitor KPIs and financial performance
- Improve and automate reporting and models to streamline processes and facilitate analysis
- Contribute to new strategic projects on finance-related topics (international expansion, new US subsidiary, new brand…)
- Perform ad-hoc analysis for company stakeholders
Specific skills:
- Attention to details able to deep dive and bring finesse to the analysis, being involved in daily tasks around business topics and financial process
- Assist in accounting review and financial analysis : Perform account reconciliations, review financial entries, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Support in closing operations : Participate in month-end closing activities (e.g. fixed asset management, accruals and provisions)
- Good communication of the figures, able to prepare a reporting and make your tools/analysis usable and readable for the team
- Analytical and forecasting skills, ability to take a step back and finetune a forecast
- Fluency in English is essential, as you will be working in an international environment.
